You will definitely want her in your newsfeed if she isn’t already!! Grab a cup of coffee this Monday morning and enjoy a good read getting to know a fellow photographer! Love ❤

First and foremost, I am a wife and a mother of 2 little ones, 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. Both true miracles.
I was born in Italy and came to America at a very young age with my parents and siblings…leaving all other family behind. I miss them every day.
I love the spring and fall, it is when I am happiest! I live on Long Island in NY, so we get all extremes here as far as weather goes.
I’ve always enjoyed dancing..not the professional kind, but the just get on the dance floor and have fun, kind, lol.

I am a neat freak, some might call it OCD. I am a dreamer, to a fault.

What does photography mean to you?

Photography to me has always been an escape, a way to calm my anxieties. I have always been a very visual person. I observe constantly. I have never been one to seek out the spotlight. I see things in our world that some people just don’t see and it is my goal to try and capture it. Whether it’s a certain way the light is hitting something, or an expression on someone’s face. I’m sure other photographers can relate to that. It means remembering things that otherwise might have been forgotten or completely passed over with no acknowledgment. Bringing the mundane to life.

When did you start pursuing photography?

I have been pursuing photography for years and years. It is just recently, within the past 8 months, that I got up the courage and started to share it with the world.

I know it’s not perfect, but it’s my art, my vision, so why not share? It was very difficult for me to put myself out there, but I am so happy I did! It is still intimidating, and I’m still learning ALL.THE.TIME.

What motivates and inspires you?

Everyday life inspires me. Seeing the beautiful images of other photographers inspires me. My family motivates me. The dreamer in me is starting to catch up and realize that dreams CAN come true with hard work.

Can you share with us a few of your favorite images and why they are your favorites?
I have a slight obsession with snowflakes and macro shots. They truly amaze me every single time no matter how many I see. I mean, no two are alike right?

One of my first images of this years 365 project. I just love the light and shadow in this one and how it feels like I’m peeking in on his little secret. Plus my son looks so peaceful just doing his thing 🙂
My little girls personality just shines in this image. It’s her TRUE self

Hanging on by a thread, some days that is exactly how I feel…but I HANG ON and that’s what matters.

What advice would you give to another photographer just starting up?

I am the photographer just starting out, lol. However my only advice would be…stop being scared and just do it! Put your images out there for the world to see, I promise you will be surprised at the response! YOU GOT THIS!! STOP HIDING!!! I will support you, just reach out. I am still in your shoes, lol. “Doubt kills more dreams than failure EVER will”  not sure whose quote that is, I apologize, but it’s my favorite.

Nikon or Canon? What lens is attached to it?

Canon. Right now, I think my 24-70 2.8 is attached. I have a lens hoarding problem though, lol

Lightroom or Photoshop? Both?

Mainly Lightroom with tweaking in PS.

Thanks so much for reading MY STORY! xoxox
Thanks, Eve!!!!
